 My Literacy class has been learning about technology, we've been working on our workbook for 2-3 weeks maybe? WE had to do creates on book creator and google slides!

It was really hard to create both of them, I had to ctrl+c and ctrl+v all the slides!  You'll have to press down the arrows but the sign that is going down, because all of them are fast when you hold that arrow down.  You don't have to hold the down arrow if you don't want to!😄👍

Our School, Our Meanings what they are.

The part that was hard was the meanings! The easiest part was the English names! And I wonder...Why was this School named Gilberthorpe School? Was it gifted to us?

 I have been learning about Days of the week in Te Reo Maori! The hard part was Friday and Thursday, the easiest part was Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Ratapu!

How to say a positive comment

My class has been learning about Positive, Thoughtful, and  Helpful comments. This is how your comment is supposed to look if you are already done looking and reading the post. When people say "cool" to your post, it means they actually read and looked at your post. If people say "Kia Ora (name), I like your post, it really helps out a lot! my favourite part is the, and it's really cool!" it means they weren't reading it and looked at it because they didn't say their favourite part of the picture(or slide) But if people say their favourite part, it means they were listening, and also if they wrote a comment at the end, you can check your blog post at your house and reply at their question!

Myths and Legends

 This is my learning journey from Literacy! I worked really hard on it...But it still was fun! 

*I have created 2 book creators! on the 10th page! My first Book Creator was "girls hang out with who??..." My second Book Creator was "What Myths and Legends are actually about"

*What we have been learning about is Myths and Legends. The difference between Myth and Legends is that Myths is not a true Legend, Legends are real when all of the people now that weren't alive YET.

*The past 3 weeks we had to finish our workbook about Myths and Legends. We put in our workbook was our book creator, and we also had to answer the questions in the workbook!

*I now know a few Myths and Legends. My group was talking about "How Maui Slowed The Sun" and different Maui legends!

*What I liked about the workbook was that it was our FIRST Literacy 1-3 for our blog post!

*In my reading group we have been learning about summarizing sentences. it was a bit hard!
